Update from yesterdays fire scene:

Two veteran firefighters were injured performing fire suppression at Southern Fuelwood in Newberry, Florida, one Alachua County Firefighter and one Newberry Fire Rescue Firefighter. The Newberry firefighter was discharged last night and is home and well. Alachua County Fire Rescue firefighter is stable, but will require surgery today for a tib/fib fracture. We are counting our blessings that our brothers weren’t further injured.
We wish them both a speedy recovery and return to duty.
